Metal Warrior with the Soul of a Music Lover
Date of birth: May 26, 1985, Opole – this is when a man was born who subordinated his life to sounds, from progressive harmony to dark riffs of metal songs.
Jerry caught the music bug from his father, who played the guitar, and Genesis, Jean-Michel Jarre and TSA could be heard at home. This eclectic mix shaped young Jerry’s sensitivity, but in his teenage years he threw off the progressive shackles and immersed himself in the abyss of Black and Death metal.
He took his first steps on the guitar at the age of 12, using his father’s heavily used acoustic Defilka. Although the instrument buzzed more than it played, Jerry already knew then that the guitar would become his life companion.
Metal career path
Jerry played his first gigs at the local Namysłowski Cultural Center, and his talent was quickly noticed by musicians from more experienced bands. In 2000, he joined two bands:
Thy Hastur – Symphonic Black Metal, where he played for 12 years, creating monumental pieces for lovers of dark aesthetics.
Rivendell (formerly known as Hype) – Art Rock with a touch of magic, where he played until 2003.
In 2006, Jerry moved to Wrocław – a city that became his base for further musical conquests. In 2010, he joined the band Crimson Valley (Melodic Metal), where he plays to this day, co-creating unique releases such as Crossing the Sky and the upcoming Storm.But that’s not all. Professional Life
After high school, Jerry did an internship at the Namysłów Community Self-Help Center, helping to rehabilitate people with disabilities. Although he started college, he dropped out, choosing work, and eventually tied his fate to the army.
