Dziki Grzehu

Bass

Multi-instrumental metalhead from Leśna. Self-taught, still not cured of metal.

Hand it over, I'll try to play it.
Beginnings

17 March 1988, Leśna

Music got hold of him before he was born. His dad planted it in him before Grzehu even came into the world, and it never let go. Leśna has been home his whole life.

Self-taught. No music school, just an ear, passion and a bit of patience from the neighbours. Bassist by passion, but when needed he sits down behind the drums too.

Day to day he's quiet, calm and composed. Once he picks up the bass, things get considerably louder.

Career

The metal path

Seven bands, not counting random cover and church projects. Enough instruments to stop counting.

Izmair: atmospheric metal, the first step into the dark.

Daybreak: things get serious, metalcore.

All Lies Reserved: another band, another instrument, zero boredom.

YXX: "what if I try guitar?", industrial with plenty of electronics, a family project.

Obsydian: experience +10, gear +100, behind the drums in progressive instrumental metal.

Kreatura: metal/hardcore.

Insantarium: backing the next generation (his son and his mates), groove metal.

Since autumn 2026, bass in 4dziki. Status: still not cured of metal.

Day job

Solid things

Fitting made-to-measure furniture and operating heavy construction machinery. He likes solid things: the ones you bolt together and the ones that weigh several tonnes.
